If you’re looking for a well-organised walking challenge with plenty of distance options, the Ultra Challenge Series is a great place to start.
Events take place across the UK, with distances ranging from shorter 10km challenges and marathon-distance walks through to 50km and full 100km ultras. I’ve taken on a fair few Ultra Challenges myself over the years, so you’ll spot plenty of them across the 2026 and 2027 event calendars.
