Mam Tor & The Great Ridge – 10.75km Circular Walk
Starting in Castleton, this spectacular circular walk climbs to Lose Hill before following the famous Great Ridge across Back Tor and Hollins Cross to Mam Tor. The return via dramatic Winnats Pass makes this one of my favourite Peak District routes.
The Roaches & Lud's Church – 10.93km Figure-of-Eight Walk
A spectacular walk combining the dramatic gritstone formations of the Roaches with the mysterious, moss-covered chasm of Lud's Church. Low mist added an atmospheric touch to the ridge before the route descended towards Clough Head and into the woodland. With rocky paths, sweeping views and a fascinating natural landmark, this is one of the Peak District's most memorable walks.
Thor's Cave – A Spectacular Peak District Circular Walk
Starting from Wetton village, this 4.67km circular walk explores the beautiful Manifold Valley and the spectacular limestone cavern of Thor's Cave. With its enormous arched entrance, fascinating rocky interior and breathtaking views across the valley, this is a short but memorable Peak District adventure.
Edale Skyline – A Classic Peak District Challenge
Starting in Castleton, this spectacular circular walk climbs to Lose Hill before following the famous Great Ridge across Back Tor and Hollins Cross to Mam Tor. The return via dramatic Winnats Pass makes this one of my favourite Peak District routes.
